“Meet the Next City Attorney” hosted by LACBA’s Criminal Justice Section, co-sponsored by SGVBA
Join SGVBA in-person to meet all of the candidates running for Los Angeles City Attorney. The City Attorney is the criminal prosecutor who is responsible for misdemeanor violations, pursues affirmative civil rights litigation to benefit the people of Los Angeles, and provides legal counsel for the city including in civil actions and in drafting legislation. The candidates will share their backgrounds, qualifications, and goals for the City Attorney’s Office.Attendees will have to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test. Based on Cal State University’s requirements, attendees must also wear masks indoors, preferably surgical, KN95, or KF94 masks.
