No doubt about it – law firms are now prime targets for cybercriminals, and there have already been a number of highly public breaches at several prestigious firms this year. We’ll go into why and how these attacks are happening, what’s at risk for your firm and your clients, and how the global pandemic has made it necessary to rethink the tools we use to protect against cyber threats.
Over the last 15 years Chris Lee has worked a variety of roles in IT — both as a consultant and in internal corporate leadership — primarily in the fashion, entertainment and hospitality spaces.
He also frequently engages with law firms of various sizes to develop technology solutions to meet the changing demands of their practices. In 2012 he worked with e-discovery firm E-Stet to design network and storage infrastructure needed for the extremely large datasets required by cases such as Apple v Samsung.
Most recently Chris headed IT infrastructure, cyber-security, and technology strategy for lifestyle brands Trina Turk and Rastaclat. He founded Hexpistol as a technology agency providing customized managed IT services, digital strategy, and cyber threat remediation and forensics.
